Western Romance has always been my first love but I also write hot contemporary romance under my pen name A.L. Simpson. In my Westerns I love to write about knock ‘em down - drag ‘em out fights, outlaws, bank robbery, stage hold-ups and romance. In my Contemporary’s I write f/m, m/m and m/m/f. I usually draw on experiences for these and they usually cause more than a few tears for the readers. When I am not writing I enjoy walking our dogs – 2 elderly Jack Russell Terriers - with my husband and travelling both overseas and in Australia. 1. Interesting interview. I didn’t now you wanted to be a veterinarian, Peggy. My son-in-law is one in Medford, Oregon. My daughter manages the clinic for him. She wanted to be one too but changed her mind after seeing abscesses in some of our rabbits. Now she is into it anyway.

  2. Hello Peggy (and Susan), great interview! Peggy, I love animals too and am right now in the market for a canine buddy. Sounds like you have the best of all worlds, wonderful family, surrounded by animals (don’t know about the bearded dragons) and fantastic weather in CA. So happy you decided to take up writing,

    Cyber hugs, Keta
Susan: Pale blue is one of my fave colors, so your blog is warm and comfy to me!

  3. Fun interview, ladies! Peggy, I always enjoy learning more about you and your books. Keep up the great work!

BTW I love the way you set up your book covers as a collage. I did something similar for an ad that will run in the Emerald City conference program in October. Sadly, it will be in black and white, but after seeing your beautiful layout here, I think I’ll start running my collage in color when I visit author sites. Good idea, my friend!
