Title: Moment of Reckoning (Nine Kingdoms, Book 7)
Author: Ann Bakshis
Genre: Epic Fantasy
Cover Designer: Lori Pryzbranowski of Hell Yes Designs
Publication Date: March 27th, 2021
Hosted by: Lady Amber’s PR

Blurb:

Righteousness comes at a price and now payment is due.

Following the death of her horrid husband, Evander, Honora prayed she would finally be free. However Evander’s master, Dolos, has returned and seeks to claim the Shadows for himself. More than ever, Honora is determined to protect her child by escaping those eager to control them both.

Yet as painful sins from the past are revealed, those Honora hold dear are forced to relive their worst crimes. Caster’s attempt on his beloved’s life. Lycus’ lust driving him the brink of madness. In light of these ugly truths, Honora must decide if these tragedies are worth risking everything for.

The epic conclusion has arrived in Moment of Reckoning. The breathtaking finale to the Nine Kingdoms Series written by Ann Bakshis.

I’ve always loved to write ever since I was young. I would picture myself as the main character so I could go on adventures. They began as daydreams, which I eventually put down onto paper. Throughout the years I would write whenever I got the chance no matter how small the manuscript turned out to be. I’d tried the traditional method of sending out query letters to agents, but they would respond with a “thanks, but no thanks” note. I felt discouraged, but kept writing. I had a lot of encouragement from my mom, my Aunt Jeanne, my daughter, and my husband. Having the support helped keep me chasing my dream. A few years ago, I decided to buckle down and get serious about my writing. After some research and speaking with a friend of my husband, I took the plunge into self-publishing. I found an editor and a cover designer along with other indie authors on Facebook. I’ve joined groups and asked advice from writers who have already been through the steps it takes to get out there. It took me four years and three versions before I published my first book titled Wasteland. From there, I’ve completed several series and stand-alones with quite a few more in progress, so watch for their release.

Title: The Broken Realm
Author: Sarah M. Cradit
Genre: Epic Fantasy, Grimdark Fantasy, Fantasy
Cover Designer: Regina Wamba
Editor: Emily A. Lawrence
Publication Date: March 23rd, 2021
Hosted by: LadyAmber’s PR

Blurb:

The treacherous, magical, seductive world of Kingdom of the White Sea, introduced by USA Today
bestselling fantasy author Sarah M. Cradit in The Kingless Crown, continues in
this thrilling sequel, The Broken Realm.

The crown demanded everything. The kingdom will answer.

Chaos paints the White Kingdom. Missing children, dead nobles, and a daring escape have created
an upheaval that threatens the future of the entire realm.

The lords and ladies are armed with a powerful secret weapon as they prepare to make a stand against
the crown, but the resistance has plenty to overcome before they can claim
triumph. The lord-less Westerlands prepares for war with the formidable Quinlanden
Guard spreading their men and cruelty to every corner of their Reach. In the
Easterlands, the sorcerer Mortain cultivates his ominous influence over the
enslaved Saleen, a decisive threat he could unleash upon the kingdom with a
snap of his finger.

To the kingdom, it appears as if these assaults on their freedom are cosigned by the crown. It
seems only a matter of time before the king’s victory becomes total.

But from his isolated throne in Duncarrow, King Eoghan has discovered his authority is not
absolute. There are other powers at play, as sinister as they are resilient.
Those close to him curate the facts he is fed, keeping him tucked away in the
dark while they issue orders in his name. As his control spirals, and opposing
forces gain ground, the king’s fragile resolve turns to desperation.

Yet, across the kingdom, a quiet but powerful awakening of magic is taking place. One that
began generations ago, on a cold night in Duncarrow…

Many would enslave her. It’s up to Honora to save herself by any means
necessary.

The power of the Shadows courses through Ora’s veins, making her a prize
an onslaught of enemies conspire to claim. To her great regret, they aren’t
alone in their desires to exploit her. Evander, her husband, has taken to using
her when it suits him, then casting her aside.

Greed, arrogance, jealousy, and power: each are selfish masters who
dictate the lives of those who allow them into their hearts. All of which
Honora has seen far too much of in recent months. Desperate to break free from
the noose of cruelty tightening around her, she risks everything to forge her
own path. How far will Ora go to turn the tides in Toorkuns? And will the
sacrifice required be too steep a price to pay?

Author: Sarah M. Cradit

Publication Date: October 13th, 2020
Hosted by: Lady Amber’s PR

Blurb:
From the USA Today & International Bestselling author of the Saga of Crimson & Clover comes a gripping new epic fantasy world that will leave you breathless to the very last page.

A crown woven together by lies.

A kingdom with the power to unravel them.

Four Reaches. Four brides. Only a fortnight separates the young women from becoming reluctant queens of the usurper king, Eoghan Rhiagain.

Twenty years earlier, King Eoghan’s father cunningly devised marriages between the highborn sons and daughters of the oft-warring Reaches, sealing the unions before they could protest, shattering existing betrothals in place of forced alliances.

Now, Eoghan, the cruel boy king who stole his crown through murder, demands the eldest daughters of these unions. To accept is unfathomable. To refuse is treason.

The lords and ladies of the kingdom have no choice but to prepare their beloved daughters for the horrors ahead. But they’ll soon discover there are no longer any daughters left to present. All four have disappeared, painting the world with their rebellion.

Theirs is not the only rebellion. Across the kingdom, little fires light within. From the enigmatic sorcerers in the northern mountains, to the magi who both wield and regulate the kingdom’s magic, and beyond… to a place where two prisoners are not what they seem.

As the Reaches ready themselves to face the king, the kingdom hovers on the edge of chaos.

And there are many who recall, in candlelit secrecy, tales of a time before…

Treachery can lie in the heart of any man, from our worst enemy to our
most beloved friend. Some choose to ignore it, while others work on defeating
it no matter the cost—and the cost is always high. However, the Righteous Man
believes he can alter the course of his life to one of redemption and justice
instead of servitude and pain by using deceit and sedition.

But, he would be wrong.

For Honora, it’s something she’s seen in her previous life as the Shadows
in the form of Macarius, Dolos, and Dermont. Now it takes the shape of someone
she trusts… someone she loves. The betrayal awaiting her is like no other.

For the Righteous Man deceives all… none more than himself.

But neither she nor Evander have the nine medallions required to unlock the gate, and there’s very few opportunities available to obtain them without suspicion. Lies will be told, truths unraveled, and deals made that no husband should ever agree to.

Title: Chaos Reigns
Author: G. S. Scott
Genre: Epic Fantasy (with Romantic Elements & LGBTQ Characters)
Cover Designer: Colleen Nye
Editor: Genevieve Scholl
Publisher: True Tree Press
Publication Date: May 21st, 2019
Blurb:
For 500 years, the God of Chaos has ruled in a torturous reign of brutality. Now, desperate gods and goddesses are seeking an end to his dominion. To counter them, Chaos calls for the Cleansing: the sacrifice of all children under two.
Ellis escapes the Cleansing through intuition and prophetic dreams. Visions drag him north toward an ethereal tower, deep in The Lands of the Dead. His life is saved by Dirge, a swordsman with a haunted past who thinks Ellis was born to end the reign of Chaos. Ellis grows to head a troupe of traveling entertainers. His only true friend is Daylin, a young woman and former priest’s slave who talks with wolves. Always on the move, they stay steps ahead of the fire-wielding priest who killed Ellis’ parents.
To the north, villagers discover Betal at the forest’s edge. Sensing Betal’s immense power, a local paladin excludes Betal from the Cleansing and declares him The Hand of God. As Betal falls into a roll as an acolyte to Chaos, strange dreams of wolves haunt him. His only friend is a fellow acolyte, Mangin, a beguiling young woman who delights in twisting the minds of others. The pair set out to Citadel, where they will become full-fledged priests, if they can escape a murderous beast and assassins who stalk the path.
When the two groups meet, intrigue, love, and sex intertwine them. Can they trust one another when the old gods challenge Chaos using mortals as pawns? Even fools know to trust Chaos is to invite death.

Heartless squatted on the edge of his golden throne, his eye color changing wildly. A snarl played on his lips as he reveled in the power flowing from the Lord of Chaos through the bejeweled, multihued crown, entangled within his long black hair. At the foot of his dais lay the bubbling pool that used to be his herald—the man had the poor luck to bring him the spy. Heartless didn’t dare kill his eyes and ears within the Council of Taneer so he took his rage out on the herald.
A voice whispered in the back of his head.
He glanced at the spot where the spy’s gateway closed when the man left, the lingering scent of burnt ozone still in the air. “What were you holding back?” he asked, his voice echoing in the vast, dust-choked chamber. The light from mangled, crystal chandeliers and rush torches, along with the sparse rays peaking in through boarded windows left the castle in perpetual dim, earning it the name, the Black Keep.

Heartless clenched his fists, the knuckles whitening. It didn’t matter what the spy withheld, the news he brought was bad enough. His face twisted. “Gabriel thinks he can take what is mine? The gall! I won their damned Game. Edis—Chaos himself—chose me, and I won. The world is mine. And now the Arbiter expects me to step down over some time limit? A time limit?” Heartless hurled his golden scepter across the room, the crystal top shattering on the rippled, uneven marble floor. Taking a deep breath, he chuckled. “A Rebirthing? Why would Gabriel do such a thing? Why be a mortal when he’s already a god?”
