Title: Party Girl (A Novella from the World of House of Payne)
Author: Stacy Gail
Genre: Contemporary/NA Romance, Urban Romance
Release Date: June 23, 2022

TRIGGER WARNING: This book deals with a character dosed with Rohypnol, a date-rape drug. Though the assault goes no further than that, if this is a trigger, this book is not for you.
Content creator. Trendsetting influencer. Society columnist.
Hannah Raven has worked nonstop since she was sixteen to make it big. Abandoned by her mother to a grandmother who didn’t want her, Hannah fought to create a space for herself where she belonged. So what if it was on the internet? That didn’t mean it wasn’t real.
Decorated military hero. Doctor. One of Chicago’s prized eligible bachelors.
Dalton Derico thought he’d seen it all, and what he’d seen wasn’t worth a damn. Then a stunning woman collapses in his arms after being slipped a roofie, and everything changes. There is beauty in the world, and he will have it for himself… as long as he can convince Hannah that all her roads lead to him.
Flitting from party to party has always been Hannah’s way, but now that she knows the darker side of party life, she’s reconsidering where she belongs. Is she destined to cover the celebrations of other people forever, or should she risk putting her faith in Dalton by creating a new world that could belong to them both?
***This contemporary romance includes a fiercely protective Alpha who’s hot enough to raise temperatures and drop panties. As always, no cheating, no love triangles, no cliffhangers. HEA guaranteed, with an epilogue built to make you happy-sigh. Due to adult language and sexual content, this book is not intended for people under the age of eighteen.***

“Being treated like royalty at restaurants is a definite perk to dating Chicago’s favorite professional party girl,” Dalton remarked as he walked Hannah to her car. She’d insisted on driving herself to the restaurant for a couple reasons. First, she’d needed to go back to the office after picking out a costume for the fete to gather up her coat. But the main reason had been that she hadn’t been lying when she’d told Dalton her guard was up. Taking risks, such as getting into cars with men she barely knew, was something carefree-Hannah had done, before she’d been slipped a roofie. No way would she do it now.

Even if the man she was with had the ability to make her feel safe simply by the sound of his voice alone.

“Just wait until I take you out for coffee at Joe’s Joe.” She smiled up at him as she hit the lock on her car’s key fob, then promptly forgot what she was doing when he returned that smile in spades. Dear God, this man was breathtaking. “They’ll fill you up with so much caffeine you won’t sleep for days, but it’s totally worth it.”

“It’s a date.” He came to an abrupt stop as well to stare down at her as if he couldn’t get enough of the sight of her face. “In fact, everything we do should be a date from here on in, from eating, to grabbing a cup of coffee, to breathing. You game?”

Her eyes widened, and suddenly that breathing he mentioned was hard to do. “You mean we should spend more time together?”

“I mean we should spend every waking moment together. Time without you in it is a complete waste.” While she was still reeling from that statement, he reached out and cupped the side of her jaw, his fingers sliding into her hair. “You’re good with that, yeah?”

“Yeah.” Her response was swallowed by his mouth, but she didn’t mind. When a man kissed a woman like it was what he was put on earth to do, she could pretty much forgive him anything.

By fourteen, she told her parents she was either going to be a figure skating coach who was also a published romance author, or a romance author who was also a figure skating pro. Now, with a day job of playing on the ice with her students, and writing everything from steampunk to cyberpunk, contemporary to paranormal at night, both dreams have come true.

What would you do if fear gripped you tight and refused to let go?

Would you cower in its clutches or stand and fight?

When Greenlife captured Amaya, I thought that was the worst of what was to come.

Turns out I was wrong. This is only just the beginning of the level of depravity that they have sunk to.

I’m desperate to utilise my new powers, to go and rescue her, but I wasn’t prepared for them to fight back, or the wickedness they seem to revel in.

But through all the heartache and fear, I am unbreakable. With my new friends and three men who will protect me at all costs, my determination is stronger than the enemies circling closer.

The war has just begun.

We will not be beaten.

Author: Jonathan Yanez
Genre: Urban Fantasy
Publisher: Archimedes Books
Publication Date: Feb. 14, 2021
Hosted by: LadyAmber’s PR

Blurb:

This Valentine’s Day, give that Special Someone something to remember.

Because nothing says, “I love you” more than a double hit of snuf.

John Hunter isn’t bad at this whole monster hunting thing. Along with Shannon and
Evan, he’s even formed his own company, Hunters for Hire.

But events will soon turn deadly as Hunters for Hire is contracted to solve a case
so twisted and mysterious, it’ll make every conspiracy theory you’ve heard of
sound like just another episode of Golden Girls.

On top of that, a rival monster-hunting faction is about to make their debut and
these guys are real tools. Will they take up all the best-paying jobs leaving
John to go back to Top Ramen and pickles?

For fans of Larry Correia’s Monster Hunters International, Jim Butcher’s Dresden
Files, and Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson’s The Boys comes your next bad
decision.
