His Christmas Wish
Carly Bishop loved Christmas…until tragedy struck. Distraught and grief-stricken over the deaths of her fiancé and brother, she left Hood Hamlet and her Christmas spirit behind, to start over somewhere new. But now, six years later, her family needs her. Carly returns home to face her past and give her niece and nephew the best Christmas ever.
Burdened with guilt, Jake Porter believes he could have saved his two friends on that fateful day and kept Carly from experiencing such a heart-wrenching loss. When she arrives in town, Jake wants to make amends so they can both finally move forward with their lives.
As Jake helps Carly experience the magic of Christmas so she’ll embrace the holiday again, will he also be able to open her heart to something else she’d given up on…love?
Her Christmas Secret
Sean Hughes likes being single—much to his family’s dismay. They want him to settle down…now. When he gives fun-loving snowboarder Zoe Flynn a ride to the slopes, Sean hatches a plan to throw off his matchmaking relatives. He asks Zoe to pose as his girlfriend at Thanksgiving dinner, which will take the pressure off him and make the evening more enjoyable all around.
Zoe agrees to be Sean’s fake girlfriend. Who wouldn’t want a free meal or a chance to hang out with the handsome mountain rescuer and his adorable husky? When an injury occurs, the two are forced to continue their one-night ruse. As Christmas approaches, make-believe turns into reality. But Zoe has a secret…a big one.
Is their new relationship strong enough to withstand the truth, or will she find herself with no one to kiss at midnight on New Year’s Eve?
Her Christmas Kiss
Paramedic Leanne Thomas works hard to be “one of the boys” at the fire station and on the mountain. What the guys don’t know is she keeps her inner girly-girl hidden from them. When gorgeous, rookie firefighter Christian Welton turns on the charm, Leanne shuts him down fast. She won’t risk her heart or her reputation by dating a younger man who is also a coworker.
Leanne intrigues Christian. After she rescues him off the mountain, he glimpses a softer, more vulnerable side to her tough-as-nails personality. Christian’s not looking for a relationship, yet he can’t deny his attraction. A surprise kiss under the mistletoe sparks a three-alarm fire, but something is holding her back.
Will Christian’s kisses break through Leanne’s tough exterior and melt her heart? Or will a dash of Christmas magic be required?
His Second Chance
Nothing interests Sarah Purcell more than the volcanoes she studies until she meets Dr. Cullen Gray. Maybe that’s why she marries him two days later. Illogical, yes, but nothing has ever felt so right. As the honeymoon period ends and real life sets in, everything falls apart. A year after their separation, when Sarah is injured, she’s shocked when Cullen shows up to help.
Even though Cullen’s still hurting from their breakup, Sarah has no one else. He brings her to his home in Hood Hamlet to heal. Once she recovers, she can return to her beloved work and he can move on with his life—without her. But soon, sparks fly anew, long-buried emotions resurface, and much-needed conversations happen.
Is Sarah and Cullen’s marriage truly over? Or will they get a second chance at romance and a happily ever after?

His Christmas Family
Two and a half years after Grace Wilcox’s husband died a war hero, the hole in her heart and life remains. She wants to start over with their young son, but a snowstorm thwarts her plans, stranding them in Hood Hamlet. When Grace knocks on a stranger’s door in search of help, a handsome firefighter comes to the rescue.
Bill Paulson invites the two wayward travelers into his home. A relationship and family aren’t on his radar, but something about the widow and her son touches Bill’s heart. While Grace’s truck is being repaired, she wants to give her son a special Christmas. An overgrown kid who loves the holidays, Bill decides to do the same for Grace.
Attraction soon flares between Grace and Bill, but she won’t gamble her heart on another hero and he doesn’t consider himself husband material. Can a little Christmas magic show them love and a family are worth the risks?

“It’s my mother. She thinks we’re serious. You and me. That I invited you to dinner because we’re in a relationship.”
Lines creased Zoe’s forehead. “Why would she think that?”
Because his mother was a hopeless romantic who wanted her son to get married so she could have grandchildren. “Because I’m bringing you to Thanksgiving dinner.”
“That doesn’t make any sense.”
“My family never makes much sense.”
“Haven’t you ever brought anyone to Thanksgiving dinner before?” Zoe asked.
“Not in a long time.” Sean tried to keep his personal life as private as he could. Not easy living in a small town full of close friends and a large, demanding family who defined the meaning of nosy. “That must be why my mom got the wrong idea.”
“You have to admit it’s kind of sweet.”
“Imagine if it were your mother.”
Zoe winced. “Okay, not sweet at all.”
“My mom’s probably calling my aunts, who will call my cousins…”
“It’s not a problem. Just a little misunderstanding.” Zoe didn’t sound upset. “We can tell everyone the truth when we arrive. Have a good laugh about it.”
He stared at the snow on the side of the road. “Right.”
“You’re not laughing,” she said gently.
“Nope.”
“I don’t have to go.”
“You’re not spending Thanksgiving alone.” Sean wasn’t going to let her get away that easily. He blew out a puff of air. “My mom’s expecting you now. If you didn’t show up, she’d be disappointed. She looks forward to the holidays all year. I don’t want to ruin her day.”
“She’s going to be disappointed anyway when we tell her the truth.”
“Yeah. Unless…” His voice trailed off.
We couldn’t, could we? The idea had merit.
“What?” Zoe asked.
“We could pretend to be dating,” he suggested. “Just for today.”
“That could be fun.”
“Yeah.” And solve his problem. Problems, actually. His mom’s Thanksgiving would be salvaged, his opinionated family couldn’t say anything about him settling down, and he would get to spend time with Zoe. A win-win situation for everyone. “You in?”
She shrugged. “Sure.”

Another winter means Christmas in Cringle Cove, the cozy resort town nestled in the mountains of Pennsylvania. My home.
It was never my dream to run my aunt’s bed and breakfast, but it’s my reality. The only good thing about this time of year is that we shut down the bed and breakfast to celebrate our family’s Christmas.
The town twinkles with the festive lights as the snow falls in a glistening blanket on the land. The cheer is in the air, and I find myself embracing the holiday spirit. Not even the stack of bills that keep piling up can ruin the joyful cheer.
That is until I collide into Roan McDaniels in the local coffee shop. The searing liquid that spills down my arm, is nothing compared to the ache in my heart.
He’s back in town. The man who broke my heart so many years ago and he looks good. Damn good.
Little did I know I was in for a very unexpected gift.

Until our easy friendship turns into a hellacious crush and a favor bred from nightmares.

For someone who loves everything about the holidays, mine are sure getting off to a terrible start.
The worst part? I promised my ex I wouldn’t tell a soul we’d ended things until we’re far away from Cringle Cove.
At least I’m in the most festive town in the country.
If everything else goes to hell this week, I’ve got that.
I’m hiding out in a coffee shop when I see Abby.
She’s awkward, sarcastic, and obviously miserable here.
I’ve never wanted anyone more.
Keep a promise to your ex in exchange for a happy holiday?

It’s Christmas in Cringle Cove. Somebody save me.
This place makes me crazy with all the decorations. But one thing makes being here even worse: my ex-boyfriend. In fact, he makes me regret ever leaving the house.
One wrong step and I fall—hard. Who’s there to save me? None other than Max. Seeing him again brings back so many memories. One, in particular, brings tears to my eyes—the day I ended us.
He’s all I think about. All I see. And he wants me back.
However, returning to Max means choosing a road I never thought I’d take again.
Maxton
I always know when Shaine’s home on break from college. Every part of my being goes on high alert the second she enters Cringle Cove. She was once mine, but not anymore.
That is until I find her on the ground in pain. Ice happens.
With her suddenly near, I have to fight the constant urge to wrap my arms around her and kiss her. We aren’t the same people we used to be.
We have a lot to work through. Hearts to mend. If Shaine is my Christmas gift, it’ll be worth all the pain.
This will be one long week.

flowing.

Award-winning author Rachel W. Jones wrote her first contemporary romance manuscript at age fifty-seven. She composes stories about strong heroines, heroes with heart, and sweet romance. Her writing reflects her passion for performing arts, and a twenty-nine-year career in healthcare has influenced the threads of medical drama woven into her storylines.
When she’s not writing or working as a registered nurse, Rachel loves traveling, sewing, and the music enthusiast in her still believes in practicing her clarinet and piano. She lives in metro Atlanta with her husband of forty years and one spoiled Labrador retriever who has her own full-size bed but sleeps wherever she desires.

Amazon Best Selling author and multiple RONE Award Finalist Linda Joyce writes contemporary romance and women’s fiction featuring assertive females and the men who can’t resist them. She lives with her very patient husband in a house in Metro Atlanta. Linda is a closet artist who paints with a brush, yet longs to finger paint…but hates getting her hands messy. She’s addicted to Cajun food and sushi. Linda will deny she only leaves the house once a week and only then to get criticism from three other authors.

When her two toddlers curl into bed for the night (and the German Shepherd is finished begging for leftovers), Leah Noel Sims journeys into her imagination, weaving stories about characters that can’t help but ask questions—only to discover realities they never thought possible. Outside of writing, Leah plays ditties on her flute (and her children no longer complain about it) and gobbles up ghost stories more eagerly than she gobbles actual food.

Jo Michaels is…
Hi, I’m Jo. Let’s forget all the “Jo Michaels is blah, blah, blah” stuff and just go with it. I’m a voracious reader (often reading more than one book at a time), a writer, a book reviewer, a mom, a wife, and one of the EICs at INDIE Books Gone Wild. I have an almost photographic memory and tend to make people cringe at the number of details I can recall about them and/or their book(s). My imagination follows me around like a conjoined twin and causes me to space out pretty often or laugh out loud randomly in completely inappropriate situations.
I have a degree in graphic design, and my journey to the end was one few students who begin that program ever complete. However, this was one case where my memory and OCD tendencies helped me. Graduation was one of the most amazing days of my life. But, my most amazing day was when my now husband proposed. Every little girl dreams of being Cinderella someday, and he pulled off the proposal of fantasies.
At the risk of sounding cliché, I’m going to let it out there and say how much I absolutely adore the man I’m married to. Along with my children, he’s my whole world.
I’ve lived in Louisiana, Tennessee, and Georgia, but I’ve had my feet in almost every state. Traveling is something I adore, and have plans to someday see the Mongolia I’ve written about in Yassa.
One of my favorite things is hearing from fans! You can find me on social media most any day of the week. Connect! I’d love to hear from you.

“What is with all this glittery stuff?” Evie’s frustration grew as she slapped at another rack of sparkly outfits.
“Duh. It’s nearly Christmas. Everything’s gonna have some kind of glitz happening.” Shana plopped on the couch and threw herself backward, draping her forearm over her face. “You’re killing me. It’s a good thing you’re my best friend, or I would’ve traded you in a long time ago.”
“Shut. Up.” Grabbing a scarf, Evie chucked it at her friend’s head. “You know you love me.”
A grin bloomed on her over-glossed lips. “I do, but that doesn’t mean you’re not being a brat right now. Why don’t we just go to the freaking swimsuit store? You know they’ll have something beachy.”
“Have you seen their prices?”
“Yeah, but it’s not like your family is hurting for cash. What does it matter?” She sat up and threw the scarf back on the rack. It hit the metal, paused for a second, and slowly slid to the floor.
Evie bent over to pick it up and hang it properly as she answered, “Ever wonder why we’re not destitute? My parents are super frugal.”
“You guys are the definition of yuppies.”
With a sigh, she shrugged and waved her hand. “Fine. Let’s go to the swimsuit store.”
They stopped off at the coffee shop for a couple of lattes on the way. One of the baristas took the girls’ orders, and they moved to the end of the counter to wait while he fixed their drinks.
“Girl, he was eying you hard,” Shana said.
Evie turned back to look at the guy again, and she couldn’t stop the quirk of her lip when she saw him glance up, turn red, and go back to what he was doing. He was cute in a boy-band kind of way. His blond hair curled at the ends and was just long enough to graze the tops of thick eyebrows over honey brown eyes. She turned away when he looked at her again, and she grinned at Shana.
“I told you so.”
“And?”
“He’s fine as hell. If you don’t get his number, I’m going to.” Putting her hand on her hip, she pursed her lips and widened her eyes.
“No, you’re not, and neither am I. We have stuff to do.”

Christmas is looming and Jack De Lacy needs a solution to one hell of a fix.

Dumped by his boyfriend in favour of his best friend, Jack’s been busy bragging about the hot new man in his life.

A hot new man who doesn’t exist.

With an important function to attend where he’ll come face-to-face with his ex, Jack knows he’ll be a laughing stock when his boasts are exposed as nothing more than wishful thinking. He’s desperate but time, like his options, is running out.

Rory Kincaid is scared he won’t last another night sleeping rough on London’s frozen, snowbound streets. With all the homeless shelters full, Rory seeks refuge in the first empty doorway he stumbles across.

Finding Rory shivering in the sub-zero temperatures, Jack can no more send him away than kick a puppy out into the cold. A shower, shave and hot drink later, and the grubby street kid is transformed into a beautiful young man.

As the attraction between them grows, so does a plan that will get Jack out of the mess he’s in and give Rory a warm, safe home for Christmas. Sweet and adorable, Rory will make a great fake boyfriend for the holidays – the problem is, neither Jack nor Rory is sure where the make believe ends and the truth begins.

Warning: this 37k novella contains a camp Christmas tree, a drag queen Christmas fairy called Doris, way too many jugs of eggnog, a closet posh boy, and the sweetest Kiss Before Christmas ever.

Excerpt

Jack swung around. “Wait.”

The kid stopped and looked back over his shoulder, his body braced against the buffeting snow.

What am I doing? It was madness, but the feeling that he was kicking a puppy or leaving a kitten in a bag to die, weighed on Jack.

“You can come upstairs and have a have a cup of tea while you wait out the worst of the weather.” What the hell have I just done?

The kid shifted his weight from one already soaked foot to the other. “No, but thanks. I’ve caused you enough bother already. And you gave me some money – thank you. I’ll go—”

“I might be able to run to a sandwich as well.” What next? A bed for the night?

“I don’t know. . .”

“Well, make your mind up, and do it now. I’m not standing out here freezing my bollocks off for much longer. A cup of tea and a sandwich is the offer, and then you’re on your way. Take it or leave it.”

Jack turned and unlocked the door, the warmth from the hallway a welcome caress against his cold skin. It had been a rash offer but a good one on a night like this. Well, the kid had turned it down, so he’d have to take his chances on the streets.

“Yes. Please. If you’re sure?”

Jack looked over his shoulder. The wind had picked up, and huge snowflakes swirled around. Enough snow had already fallen to cover the black-and-white-tiled path, and it wouldn’t be long before there was a whole lot more. Jack jerked his head, and the boy retraced his steps, following Jack inside and up the stairs.

“No offence, but you really smell.” The words tumbled from Jack’s mouth, his nose wrinkling as he closed the door to his top-floor flat. The kid had only just walked over the threshold, but he was already stinking the place out. In the cold, outdoor air, Jack hadn’t smelled the tangy, ripe aroma but up close and in the warm. . . He sniffed and coughed as his throat closed up. Christ, it was horrible. He’d offered food and drink, but a shower was top of the list.

“Sorry, but I’ve run out of my usual cologne, so I’ve had to splash on Eau de Homeless.”

Jack froze, his arms half in, half out of his coat sleeves. He stared down at the stranger, the stinking, smelly stranger he’d let into his home. And what was the kid doing? Giving him lip. Which Jack knew he deserved. He carried on peeling off his coat and hung it on a hook on the wall. Yep, he’d deserved the comeback because he hadn’t been exactly tactful.

“Sorry. That was a bit – well, you know.” Jack glanced at the kid, but the brief flare of spirit had been doused, leaving him as cowering as he had been on the doorstep. “Look, I’ll sort you out a towel and some clean clothes. I’ve got some old clothes I was going to take to the charity shop, but you might as well have them. I’ll get you a spare razor, too.” Old enough for dark scruff to shadow his skin, Jack thought, so maybe not such a kid after all. Jack turned away, then stopped. A vital piece of information had been omitted.

“I’m Jack, by the way. What’s your name?”

“Rory.”

About the Author

I love all kinds of MM romance and gay fiction, but I especially like contemporary stories. Born and raised in London, the city is part of my DNA so I like to set many of my stories in and around present-day London, providing the perfect, metropolitan backdrop to the main action. I write at home, in the gym, in cafés – in fact any place I can find a good coffee!
