Paperback

Synopsis:

Brandon

Six convicted felons have been through my ranch rehabilitation program—all of them men.

Until now.

The seventh obliterated every damn rule I had.

Blonde hair and an attitude to boot, Louisiana Carlyle was like no other, and totally off-limits.

Ironically, while doing time for grand larceny, she unlawfully stole my heart.

Louisiana

Eight months behind bars. Eight months separated from the one I’d give my life for.

Riding out the remaining three months of my sentence on a cattle ranch should be easy, right?

Turns out, it wasn’t for this city gal. Not with a cowboy like Brandon Nash in charge.

He made me trust again. He made me whole again.

And damn him, he made me fall in love again.

BLURB:

Four stories of solving a mystery and finding love along the way.

Sam’s Will
After Jana Walker’s daughter declares she doesn’t want to show horses any longer, a summer in Black Mountain, Colorado, suddenly seems like an appealing alternative. Readying the house her grandmother left her to sell will be a welcome distraction. What she isn’t counting on is a handsome stranger swearing Grammy left him part of her property.

Sam Kane had an agreement with Jane Price: fix up her ranch and keep the barn he renovated into a home, plus the ten acres around it. When her granddaughter shows up threatening to evict him, he must find the missing will Jane wrote to keep his home.

Larkspur
Shocked to learn she was switched at birth, Maya Farris travels to Black Mountain, Colorado, to see what she can learn about the events surrounding her birth. What surprises her most is her unexpected feelings for the man who was married to the woman swapped with Maya.

Hayden Rafferty can hardly believe his late wife was exchanged at birth. He becomes a reluctant believer when the woman who claims she was traded shows him compelling evidence. What he can’t believe is how fast he falls for her.

Riding Into Love
As an up-and-coming rider in the world of endurance riding, Taryn Thompson hopes the 100-mile San Juan Supreme will be hers to win. When her friend and mentor goes missing during the race, Taryn learns not all people are who they seem.

When ex-endurance rider Colby Farley’s sister vanishes, he must push aside his apprehensions to ride to her rescue. What he doesn’t expect is to fall for a woman who makes him face and conquer his deepest fear.

The Cowboy’s Story
Autumn Shaw will do anything to get the big scoop on convicted murder Shooter Crawford. She jumps at the chance to get the exclusive directly from the cowboy’s mouth. Instantly attracted to the bull rider, can she resist his charms long enough to learn the truth?

Shooter Crawford has always been a bad boy. Reckless and wild, his reputation helped send him to prison for murder. Can he trust a reporter to clear his name, or is she only interested in the story and not the man?

About the Author

MARGARET TANNER – DRAMA FILLED HISTORICAL AND WESTERN ROMANCE

Margaret Tanner is an award winning, multi-published Australian author, who writes Contemporary Romance, Historical Romance, and Western Romance with a small dose of sizzle.

Margaret has had many jobs throughout her working career – Army Reservist, Government Worker, Postwoman (On several occasions she has ridden along with a dog hanging off the back of her leg), An Army Major’s Secretary, Medical Audio-typist, Electoral Office Worker, Doctor’s Receptionist and Primary School Principal’s Secretary.

She loves delving into the pages of history as she carries out research for her historical novels. No book is too old or tattered for her to trawl through, no museum too dusty, or website too hard to navigate. Many of her novels have been inspired by true events, with one being written around the hardships and triumphs of her pioneering ancestors in frontier Australia. She once spent a couple of hours in an old goal cell so she could feel the chilling cold and fear

She has now fallen in love with writing Western Historical novellas, and found it an easy transition. Frontier Australia and frontier America, have many similarities – isolated communities living in a harsh, unforgiving environment, a large single male population, and a lack of marriageable women.

Her stories are drama laden. Her heroes hide behind a rough exterior. They are tough men who are prepared to face danger and overwhelming odds for the women they love. Her heroines are brave, resourceful women willing to endure hardship and danger in the untamed West, if it means they can win the heart of the men they love.

She has always loved Westerns, soaking up all the Western TV shows and movies when she was young. Bonanza was her all-time favourite show. Little Joe Cartwright was her hero. Western Author, Zane Grey was her favourite author at that time.

Margaret is married and has three grown up sons, and two gorgeous little granddaughters.
Outside of her family and friends, writing is her passion.

Margaret was also invited to participate in the American Mail Order Bride Series, 50 brides from 50 states, from 45 different authors. Her story is Edwina, Bride of Connecticut which is Book No 5 in the series.

Title: Evie (Pendleton Petticoats 10)
Author: Shanna Hatfield
Genre: Sweet, Historical, Western Romance
Publication Date: May 23rd, 2019
Hosted by: Lady Amber’s PR
Blurb:
Will love bloom between a spunky nanny and a distracted landscaper?
Unconventional nanny Evie Caswell views it as her duty to bring fun and laughter to the residence of her strict, aloof employers. Full of life and spirit, she is determined to teach the couple’s children how to be young and carefree. With hardly a minute to herself, she long ago surrendered her dreams of having her own home and a family. Then her employer hires Flynn Elliott, a landscape architect, to turn the yard into a spectacular garden. Enchanted with the intriguing man, Evie realizes after meeting Flynn nothing in her life will ever be the same.
Renowned for his landscape designs and ability to make anything grow, Flynn Elliott is a bit of an enigma. He spouts romantic poetry to the plants in his greenhouse and stealthily avoids social interactions, yet can charm birds right out of the trees when the need arises. While his sister handles the finer details of their business, he often loses himself in his work, forgetting the outside world exists. A chance encounter with a beautiful woman in a moonlit garden leaves him seeking opportunities to discover more about the effervescent Evie and the joy she radiates to those around her.
Will the two of them be able to set aside their doubts and fears to embrace a happily ever after?
Brimming with lighthearted moments, snippets of history, and the hope of true love, Evie is a sweet historical romance sure to warm your heart.
USA Today Bestselling Author Shanna Hatfield writes character-driven romances with relatable heroes and heroines. Her historical westerns have been described as “reminiscent of the era captured by Bonanza and The Virginian” while her contemporary works have been called “laugh-out-loud funny, and a little heart-pumping sexy without being explicit in any way.”
Convinced everyone deserves a happy ending, this hopeless romantic is out to make it happen one story at a time. When she isn’t writing or indulging in chocolate (dark and decadent, please), Shanna hangs out with her husband, lovingly known as Captain Cavedweller.
Shanna is a member of Western Writers of America, Women Writing the West, Romance Writers of America, Sweet Romance Reads, Cowboy Kisses, and Pioneer Hearts.
Author Links:

In front of him a woman danced alone in the moonlight. Dark hair spilled around her like a silken cloak while the pale gossamer layers of her gown made him think of a fairy’s wings. Slim arms raised upward, fingers artfully poised. A tall, willowy body slowly spun with fluid grace, as though she balanced on her toes like a ballerina.

Perhaps his imagination had gotten the best of him, but she put him in mind of a woodland sprite come to life. Or maybe she was more like Aphrodite.
From what he could see in the moonlight, the woman was exquisite. The poem he’d recited that afternoon to his rose bushes sprang to mind as he watched her dance, uninhibited, beneath the stars.
Although he hadn’t intended to speak aloud, the words whispering through his thoughts spilled out of his mouth. “She walks in beauty, like the night. Of cloudless climes and starry skies…’” He took a quick breath and added, “and moonlight.”
“Oh!” The woman stopped dancing and whipped around, gaping at him.
“Please don’t stop on my account,” he said, offering what he hoped was a boyish smile.
