Luke Redding’s military background is an asset when it comes to managing The Retreat, but it hasn’t helped him find the submissive he longs for. A secluded life in the New Forest, witnessing a stream of happy couples playing out their fantasies, doesn’t provide much opportunity to develop a relationship either. When a friend’s manipulations lead to him taking on silver-haired Skye as a trainee sub, Luke finds it hard to trust in his own ability to provide the guidance Skye needs.

Skye Ingham wants to explore his submissive nature but the noise and crowds at The Underground are overwhelming. He can’t believe his luck to be taken under Luke’s wing and offered a job at The Retreat. As Luke tests his boundaries, Skye trusts him implicitly, but how can he convince his new Dominant to have faith in himself?

Amid the bustle and excitement of a big house party at The Retreat, Luke and Skye edge their way towards a deeper understanding of each other’s needs and desires. But it will take a final leap of faith to secure their future and open a path to love.

Excerpt

It wasn’t dignified, but Luke twisted around in his seat to take a look at his potential employee as he wound his way between the tables. He hadn’t formed an impression of what Skye might look like, but the reality was better than anything Luke’s imagination could have conjured. Skye was slight, delicate, maybe five feet six or seven, no more. His skin was lightly tan, a coloring that Luke guessed came from his heritage rather than the sun. He had no tattoos that Luke could see and considering that all he wore was a short leather kilt, that didn’t leave much room to hide any. The wavy hair Luke had assumed was pale blond was in fact silver-gray, though the boy’s eyelashes and brows were a much darker shade, which made Luke wonder if the silver was natural.

Skye stopped in front of the table facing Luke and Carey. He clasped his hands behind his back and ducked his head. “Gordy said you wanted to see me, Mr. Hoffman.” Skye’s voice was so soft Luke had to concentrate to catch his words.

“I did, Skye. You remember I spoke to you about a job at The Retreat in Hampshire?”

Nodding, Skye darted a quick look at Luke. Luke caught a glimpse of violet-blue eyes before Skye focused his gaze on the carpet once more.

“Well, this is Mr. Redding. He’s in charge of The Retreat. I want you to wait on us over lunchtime and show him what you can do.”

“Hello, Skye,” Luke said, keeping his voice low and trying to project reassurance. “I hear you’ve had excellent training. We have a mixture of guests staying at The Retreat, but they all have something in common. They love their food. We have a dedicated chef and customers can pick their own menus and eat as much as they want. That means a lot of serving both at table and in the guests’ rooms. Do you think you can handle that?”

Skye scuffed his bare toes into the carpet. “Yes, Sir.”

“And you understand that The Retreat caters for men who are in the BDSM lifestyle, just like here at the club?” Skye nodded and a light pink flush bloomed on his cheekbones. “Sometimes, you might be required to wear very little or nothing at all. Does that worry you?”

“No, Sir.” Skye’s response was barely audible.

Luke wanted to make eye contact with the shy young man but Skye kept his gaze lowered.

“Remove your kilt, Skye,” Carey ordered.

Luke tightened his grip on his drink. He expected Skye to bolt but instead he undid the buckle at his hip, let the leather garment drop to the floor then stepped out of it.

“Hands behind your back,” Carey instructed.

Luke glanced around the restaurant. Almost every man in the place had turned to watch. Skye stood absolutely still, clad only in the mesh thong that was issued to all the serving staff at The Underground to wear under their kilts.

“Fetch two menus, please.”

Luke watched, entranced, as Skye walked away, hips swaying. He might as well have been naked for all the coverage his underwear gave him. He had natural grace and if it weren’t for the slight tension in his shoulders, Luke might have believed he was entirely comfortable following Carey’s orders.

“You’re testing him. Why?” Luke didn’t take his eyes away from Skye as he collected two menus and returned to the table.

“Because you need to be confident that he will do as you ask, when he’d prefer to run and hide.”

“He’s attracting a lot of attention.”

“Are you surprised?”

“Not at all. He’s stunning.”

Carey’s smile turned into a smirk. “Then you can handle him from now on.”

The Purple Castle

Title: The Purple Castle
Author: Quinn Slater
Genre: Erotic Fantasy/Fairy Tale Fantasy
Cover Designer: Silla Webb/Masque of the Red Pen
Publication Date: April 5th, 2019
Blurb:
The Purple Castle: A Twisted Retelling of Snow White
Escaping the tumultuous life with her abusive husband, Zareena vanishes into the dark of night where she finds an enchanted land of mystical and magical creatures in the woods behind her home. But as magical as the land seems, a darkness lies in wait—a witch who desires to sit on the same throne Zareena has been destined to occupy. In her quest to the throne and to wash away the curse the witch has cast upon both Legendary and its king, Zareena must also face her own demons of desire and conquest. The question for Zareena quickly becomes one of strength. Can she accept her passionate awakening while also freeing Legendary from its 1,000-year curse?
Quinn Slater explores the world of yearning and fantasy in a retelling of a classical fairy tale that explores one woman’s search for herself.

Quinn Slater lives in a large town in Kentucky where many of his stories take place. His writing career began in mainstream fiction where he has published five novels. But then he found a delicious appetite for writing erotic fiction. As one college professor put it, “You need to go write the dirty stuff.” And that’s exactly what he did.
Quinn’s work features strong male and female protagonists and antagonist, all of who have just the right amount of sexy with a healthy dose of naughtiness. He was once asked why he turned to erotica. The answer was simple. He wanted to put characters in compromising situations and see how their carnal appetites helped them find a way to a pleasurable ending.

“The dryads are here to serve you on your quest,” Helena said. The nymph flapped her wings excitedly.
Zareena looked up from her foot. “My quest?”
Helena waved her hand toward the path the group followed, and the trees gracefully bent away from the path, revealing magnificent mountains far to the north, and upon the most distant mountain sat a large purple castle. “It is the place you seek. We will help to find what you seek.”
Zareena shook her head. “I don’t understand. All that I seek is happiness. To be loved and cherished.”
The dryads continued moving Zareena’s feet forward, stopping in an open area heavily surrounded by trees. A small building sat in the middle, a gentle fire blazing inside, the silhouette of flames licking the walls. The cottage looked like a place she could live forever.
“He that you seek lives in the purple castle.”
“He?” Zareena questioned. She again scanned the small village, mesmerized by the fantastical plants and tiny creatures.
“Arcturus, ruler of all that you see. He is our king. The lover of us all. And in return, we love him.” Helena motioned at a stump near the small building. “Please have a seat, and we will explain.”
Zareena crossed the open area and took a seat, facing Helena. Although she crossed her legs, she felt no shame for her nakedness. Several of the female dryads fluttered upward, surrounding her head. Zareena looked to the left and then the right. “What are they doing?”
“Preparing you,” Helena replied softly.
The female dryads fluttered around her hair, gently grabbing the long strands.
Zareena watched from the corners of her eyes as the small creatures began to meticulously braid her brunette lox. “Preparing me for what?”
Helena pointed toward the purple castle again. “For our king, of course. He will love you better than anyone. He will treat you as he has treated us.”
“I…” Zareena began but then held her words. A castle? A king? She looked toward the castle again and this time smiled. When she turned to Helena, she saw her own face in a mirror, Helena fluttering behind the mirror, struggling to hold it in the air. She took the mirror and turned her head, marveling at the braids the dryads had fixed into a bun. For the first time in years she felt pretty. No, she felt beautiful. She lowered the mirror, studying her neck, and then breasts, stomach, the patch of hair between her legs, her milky-white thighs and then the rest of her legs. Her body had changed since entering the woods. With the purple castle looking down on her from afar, she felt as if she’d walked into her own fairy tale.
Zareena stood and walked around the dryads’ home, admiring the flowers that seemed to turn and watch her as she passed by. The ground beneath her feet seemed to breathe life into her body. Everything about the dryads exuded an unstoppable energy.
Zareena stopped. Her eyes grew wide. All around her, the male dryads were mounting a female dryad. Small bodies gyrated and glowed. Hips thrusted and wings fluttered.
She moved to her knees and studied two dryads in the throes of love making. The male dryad had the female on her stomach, the female pushing her small ass back toward the male’s driving hips. The male’s body glowed brightly, and the female’s wings fluttered. Zareena glanced to the right, where a female Dryad was perched atop a male, her wings helping her control the male beneath her.
Zareena sat on the ground and crossed her legs before scooting closer to the first couple she had been admiring. Helena floated closer and took a seat on Zareena’s bare shoulder.
“Watch his body,” Helena whispered.
With her eyes still trained on the dryads, Zareena nodded and leaned closer. “He’s becoming transparent. What’s happening to him?”
“Watch closer,” Helena replied. “Watch the female.”
The dryads’ bodies were not much different than those of humans. Zareena watched, amazed, as the female’s wings stretched back and engulfed the male behind her. Though the wings became transparent, much like the male dryad, Zareena could still see the milky liquid surging from the male’s body, emptying into the female. And as the fluorescent cream filled the dryad, she began to sing. In fact, every female around Zareena sang an angelic song as their male counterparts released into them.
“But what about you?” Zareena asked.
Helena smiled and fluttered into the air. “Hold out your hand.”
Zareena did as the small nymph requested. Her heart beat faster and her breathing hastened.
Helena landed softly onto Zareena’s hand and let her wings relax away from her sides. She pursed her lips and sang as beautiful as anything nature had ever created.

I thought I had it all. I lived in the perfect small town in Alabama. I married my high school sweetheart. We were expecting our first child together. Everything was falling into place.

Until it wasn’t.

Life gets complicated sometimes. You can be happily married one minute and divorced the next. You can become a single father to a newborn baby when that was never in your plans.

You can fall for your ex-wife’s best friend.

Yes, life gets complicated. Sometimes it takes something complicated to make everything else fall into place again.

I am a happily married mother of three (two boys and one girl). I live in a very small town in Alabama. Never lived anywhere else. I’ve been writing since my early twenties, but I couldn’t seem to finish a book. I started self-publishing with the encouragement from my mom. Without her encouragement, I don’t think I would’ve done it!

I get my inspiration from life experiences, movies, television, other authors, and music. Music is definitely a big influence on my writing. I can hear a song and it can inspire an entire book for me. I listen to it while I’m driving or before I start writing and it keeps me inspired. I like to put music in my books, even if it’s just one song the characters listen to or hear at some point. Sometimes music has gotten me through the really tough times in my life and that’s why it inspires me.

I like to write fast-paced, steamy romance reads. I like for my males to be alpha-males and my heroines to be strong, but both need to have one weakness- each other. I am an avid reader. I absolutely love romance books!

Good Mr. King

Title: Good Mr. King
Author: Aidée Jaimes
Genre: Steamy Contemporary Romance
Release Date: April 5, 2019
Available on Amazon with Kindle Unlimited
No one dominates me. Not the supermodels I’ve slept with, not the rich women whose necks I’ve dressed in diamonds.

So imagine my surprise when I get a drunken e-mail from an employee I’ve never met, containing not one, but dozens of erotic stories all starring yours truly. And in every one of them I’m a submissive.

I should let it go, but I can’t. This woman needs to learn, John King gets spanked by no one.

***Although this is not a BDSM Novel, it does have light elements of BDSM, as it is the driving force of the story***

She made me blush. I never blush.
I’ve fucked her in the conference room, in the lady’s restroom, in the elevator, and in my Jag. More than once. I won’t eat in my car and this woman has not only tied me to the hood, and the seat and fucked me till I came all over my expensive leather, but she’s also made me finger her while she drove it at high speeds.
No. One. Touches. My. Car.
She’s bent me over her lap and spanked my bare butt, bound my hands with my Armani ties and tortured me with a never-ending blowjob. I’ve kissed her feet, and her ass, been blindfolded and bitten and she’s made me beg for more.
And I can’t even begin to wrap my mind around the enormous anal plug. It was never something I’d entertained before; I certainly wasn’t ready to now.
Last night I read every story, stopping every so often to jackoff because she had me so hard I had to find release.
Some of the things she’s written I’ve done to others, but would never allow done to me. Some things I’ve only seen, but have never done. And some I’ve never even heard of.
The fact that her stories turn me on, pisses me off.
It’s obvious Winnifred Mills has no idea who I am. I am not a man that would ever let a lover bind me in any way. No one who knew me would suggest that I drop to my knees and worship them. The very thought sets my blood to boiling.
“I want you to get me information on a Winnifred Mills in the downtown office.” The first thing I do this morning when Diana hops into the Jag is give her the instruction.
She glances at me with annoyance before closing her door. “Good morning to you, too. How far do you want me to dig?”
“As far as you can.”
“Who is she?” she asks, pulling out a small pad and writing down the name.
“A girl that works in accounting under Brian Campbell. Worked rather.”
“Mm. I see. Is this a business request or does it have to do with something of a more personal nature?”
“Does it matter?”
“No, sir,” my right-hand answers. I expect she’ll get it done fast. She always does. The older woman has been with me for almost ten years, and she’s never failed me. I don’t know how she does half the shit she does, but it doesn’t matter.
“It’s a personal matter. Please keep it that way,” I add and she nods.
I want to ignore the book. It’s nothing more than some unknown woman’s fantasies. But I can’t. Maybe it’s an honest curiosity after what I’ve read. After all, aren’t books a window into an author’s mind? I’ve gotten a peek into her head, and it’s left my own mind reeling. There’s some deep need inside to know everything about her.
And once I do, I am going to make sure she knows just one thing about me.

John King submits to no one.
